Fernando Alvarez has over 25 years of experience in a broad array of building typologies, with expertise in high-rise residential and commercial design. His work covers buildings with a range of programming from luxury rental and condominiums to affordable housing to office.
At MAP, Mr. Alvarez is involved in all phases of design and construction, with an emphasis on the Quality Assurance process and leadership in the delivery of high-quality projects as the firm takes on bigger and more advanced developments.
His recent projects prior to joining MAP include a 50-story rental building at the Hudson Yards, a 30-story luxury condominium development in Soho, a 350,000 SF life science/class A office building in Harlem, a 974-unit rental tower in Court Square, and a 27-story luxury rental building in New Rochelle.
